Conducting spontaneous monitoring tours alongside security and anti-graft agencies, his operation has uncovered widespread payroll fraud, inflated figures, and heavily compromised infrastructure projects.
Key Discoveries and Enforcement Actions
The regional tour has led to several immediate crackdowns on public officials:
Healthcare Payroll Fraud: Impromptu audits at Naiku Health Centre III (Bungokho Central) and Busiu Health Centre IV (the largest facility in Mbale District) exposed at least 10 ghost workers siphoning public funds.
Education Irregularities: The team uncovered a ring of inflated school enrolment figures and ghost students used to siphon government funding.
Shoddy Engineering Works: Inspections revealed heavily defaced infrastructure, leading to the immediate arrest of local government officials.
