Uganda cranes cancles friendly games due to Ebola concerns.

Uganda Cranes' two international friendly matches scheduled to take place in Morocco have been cancelled due to public health concerns surrounding a resurgence of Ebola cases in Uganda.

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) confirmed on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, that the fixtures have been called off. The decision came after Moroccan authorities issued strict public health and sanitary directives, forcing match organizers to cancel the games.

The Uganda Cranes delegation, under head coach Paul Put, had already travelled to Morocco and set up camp before the sudden cancellation notice.

The matches were intended to be played during the June FIFA international window at the Stade de Marrakech:

Uganda vs. Tanzania (Originally scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026)

Uganda vs. Madagascar (Originally scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2026)
