Comedy Duo Shammy and Shawa escape accident at Hoima Road.

  

Ugandan comedy duo Sammie and Shawa narrowly escaped injury after surviving a midnight road accident along the Hoima bound road.

Accident Details

The Cause: A cow suddenly crossed the road in front of the vehicle in the middle of the night.

The Manoeuvre: Shawa was driving at a high speed but managed to quickly swerve, preventing a catastrophic head-on impact.

The Impact: The vehicle clipped the animal on one side, resulting in minor damage to the bonnet and a broken side mirror.

The Destination: The duo was traveling to Hoima to headline a scheduled comedy performance.

Occupants and Injuries
According to an official statement by Shawa via local entertainment platforms like MBU and Howwe, five people were inside the car at the time of the crash:Shawa (driver)SammieCyrusMasakaJammie M (or Jane M).

No one sustained any injuries from the incident. Shawa expressed deep gratitude to God for saving their lives and urged cattle owners in the region to stop letting livestock roam the highways at night to protect motorists.
