Buganda's perspective on Kampala's guabage surge.

Government got most concerned about Kiteezi when the landfill got overwhelmed and went overdue to this point of last week, and over 2500 and over tones of garbage have been moved out of the filled up area.

This is when the Buganda Government and the parliament of Buganda has come through to propose on the plan by the government to try water incineration as another way to solve the land struggle related to waste disaster.

The KCCA Authorities have this week come through to find better rubbish collection sites since the Kiteezi site has been ceased from operations as a dump site. The authorities have sited Lweza and Mukono as new alternative dump sites and rubbish relocation options.

Since the land fall happened last afternoon weekend, numbers have risen steadily from 4 through 20, untill now that media reports have risen upto 40, this has been happening since the excavation process began from the tragedy last weekend through the afternoon. Apart from the Numbers, it has been reported by media that more went down like animals, homes and residents and small shop businesses went with this disaster.

When the Mayor and the authorities took a visit to the divasted kiteezi landfall last week on the weekend, The mayor Elias Lukwago stated and proposed how intervations through the Authorities would be designed to help in the evacuation and compassion process to help the victims of the Landfall disaster.

KCCA believes and has reported through the communities of kiteezi that over 30 homes and residents have been buried under the rubbish Landfall coupled with the over 30 in number who turned victims. But the spokesperson of Police Patrick also shared of how over 130 People though not diseased to death where reported to have been displaced from their community of residency and small businesses

Through the years it has grown into more than just a dumping rubbish site to creating job opportunities and research and studying opportunities for both the Kampala ecosystem and business enterprise industry for recycling and climate change purposes. More has been coming off from the site like energy recycling and polythene services. But due to poor management from the authorities, it is believed to have mountains and hilled up into land falling as adeserster.

It was through the weekend 10th through 15 when the deverstaing situation of the kiteezi landfall happened, hills and mountains of most of Kampala recycled and dump rubbish fillls collapsed down, turns and turns of kampala's recycled bin rubbish went overdue. It's clear that this kiteezi dump site has been one of kamapala Capital City Authority's Official dump sites.
